WANTED: Local Heroes
#SupportLocals - For the Love of Local Food
The Netherlands has almost come to a standstill due to the Corona virus. What everyone can see and immediately feel is that our sense of food security is faltering. Restaurants and catering services have been hit hard and many small and large companies are not going to make it. Supermarkets empty out more quickly due to restrictions in production and the (international) supply chain.
We can do something about this. Together.
Locally produced food is in abundance and Local2Local’s role in the sustainable food transition has become very tangible. To fulfill this and meet the (emergency) demand, Local2Local Talents is looking for volunteers who want to contribute to this. Local Heroes.
We are looking for:
- promoters: you help with the promotion of the local food (products), online and offline
- flexible workers: requests for Local2Local Talents’ help are very diverse (from producers to healthcare institutions and clients), from short term actions to long term projects
